Looking to scale your construction business by executing a remote workforce strategy? After his key project managers were not permitted to be onsite due to the pandemic, Chad Gill was forced to rethink his entire operation. The result has been a completely restructured system that focuses on high efficiency, a better work culture, and more dollars in his wallet. Join Chad and ASA of Metro Washington as we learn how to successfully apply these strategies to your business.

For those ASAMW subcontractors and supplier members, there will be an SIE (subcontractor/supplier information exchnage) after this event, from about 1:00pm - 2:00pm. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in attending.

About Our Speaker:

Chad Gill is a long-time entrepreneur with a passion for construction. Growing up on a farm, he mastered the art of fixing things at a young age. After attending the Virginia Military Institute and entering the nuclear industry as a mechanical engineer, Chad realized that he wasn’t putting his skills —or passions —to use. So, he decided to start his first company, focusing on his favorite medium: concrete.

Chad Gill founded his custom concrete flooring company, Concreate, in 2002. Today, they are well known for their unique concrete services, which include polishing, staining, repair, maintenance, and more. Concreate performs services for commercial, residential, and industrial projects up and down the East Coast, and their services are in high demand.

Through his work building Concreate, Chad developed a unique understanding of the importance of clear communication when tracking information from job sites. His own experiences in the industry led him to found Workforce Recon in 2017, whose mission is to create an easy to use communication and documentation platform for trades with crews in the field.

Field Recon is an easy-to-use app developed by Workforce Recon that allows companies to see and understand job site activity in real-time, ensuring that small details are never lost in the shuffle. It is able to track the comings and goings of jobsite teams, worker hours, materials, and other expenses. Field Recon is also customizable making it a perfect solution for small businesses looking to streamline their operations.

After years of plowing forward through rough seas, Chad realized that his experience was painful and in many ways avoidable.  Owning your own business didn’t have to be this arduous.  Drawing on his varied background and a notebook full of approaches that did and did not work, he started Laminin Coaching.  Using his engineering mindset, technology background and trade work tenure, Chad's goal and passion became helping other people avoid the pitfalls of the small business life particularly in the building trades.
